Foundation Investment Expenses

Most foundations pay investment management fees which are typically based on asset size and often quoted in basis points (a basis point is 1/100th of 1%). For example a $25 million foundation that pays its advisor $125,000 ( 0.50% of $25 million) is paying 50 basis points.
